¡Buenos días! Our names are Rachel and Noor, and we are part of the Putney Community Service Costa Rica 2017 group. This morning at 6:30 a.m., we woke up to a delicious breakfast of egg and avocado burritos. Bug spray and sunscreen in hand, we went to find out our daily assignments from Miguel, our incredibly helpful task leader and foreman. After about two hours of difficult, sweaty work, we headed inside for a juice break. We continued work until lunch, which was delicious and very much appreciated after our long hours of work. After lunch, all of us continued our various jobs, including digging, hammering and carrying rocks long distances.

We are all looking forward to dinner tonight, which will most definately be delicious. Today was such an amazing day, and we look forward to working with the people from ASOMOBI over the next month.
